DEADLINE: July 8, 2022 midnight, EDT

The BI+ ARTS FESTIVAL and QUEER TORONTO LITERARY MAGAZINE seek poetry, fiction, non-fiction, memoir, experimental writing, art, photography, and illustration for a digital zine, with print copies on demand, for the Bi+ Visibility Day on September 23, 2022. If accepted, contributors will receive an honorarium of minimum $15.*

The title of the issue is “Flirt,” but we are open to submissions on all topics.

Flirt. Flirt? Flirt!

What does it mean to look across a room at someone and catch their eye? How does it feel when you flirt? What does it look like?

In the queer community, flirting isn’t always straightforward. We create spaces and symbols and aesthetics to communicate but those are often co-opted or misread. What do you do to get flirty?

For this issue we are specifically looking for artists and writers who identify as bi, pan, fluid, queer, or otherwise non-monosexual.

We welcome all pieces and artists with a connection to Canada.

Written pieces – max 1000 words
Visual pieces – max 5.5 x 8.5 inches at 300 dpi

Submissions are open June 10, 2022 to July 8, 2022 at midnight send to

*We are currently fundraising to raise this fee.
